We believe that to be seen and heard is vital to be able to fully participate and thrive in Aotearoa / NZ society.
Our ongoing mission is to provide a strong voice for our community which is present when decisions impacting us are being made.
Our group is a grass-roots organisation that seeks to promote the voices of the MELAA community in Aotearoa /New Zealand.
We aim to cultivate engagement with stakeholders in the community including the Ministry for Ethnic Communities and other relevant organisations.
We will also simultaneously bring about change so that we are more appropriately represented. We seek to advocate for the interests of the MELAA group and facilitate cross-cultural engagement within the group.
